Last Seen

An Art Exhibition to Save Sight

Like many things in life that are just expected, eyesight is one of those things

we take for granted. But can you imagine how much you would value

the last thing you saw if you started to lose your sight?

Your last dearly held, visual memory?

That is what Last Seen is capturing.

We’ve partnered nine visually-impaired people with influential artists to depict the last things they saw before their sight started to deteriorate.

The artworks will be auctioned at the Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA) in Brisbane on Wednesday, 13 November 2019, to raise funds to enable the Queensland Eye Institute Foundation (QEIF) to continue their research to save sight.
