Can you imagine how much you would value the last thing you saw if you started to lose your sight?
Over 450,000 Australians are blind or have low vision. Like many things in life that are just expected, eyesight is one of those things we take for granted.
We partnered nine visually-impaired Australians with nine influential artists to depict their last, dearly-held visual memory, before their sight started to deteriorate.
After a sell-out launch at GOMA, the Last Seen Exhibition was transferred to QPAC for public viewing. The exhibition ran from Friday, 15 November to Sunday, 1 December 2019.
